Ryan,
Wow what a GREAT tournament you held this year. It was awesome as usual and the weather really held out and we avoided rain. Thanks for all you do to put this event together and Richie and I, once again, loved being a part of it and will continue to play every year that we are able.
God Bless,
Richard "Tex" Brown
Ryan,
Just a quick note to let you know that my father and I had a FABULOUS time at your tournament. It’s very well run and obvious that a lot of work went into it. We were lucky enough to win 3rd net in our flight, but it would not have mattered. We met fantastic people all week.
Job well done!
You made my father’s week, which makes things enjoyable for me.
Thanks for all the work.

Hello Ryan,
My son and I tried to track you down at the tourney to say thanks for another great year, but never did run into you. So, I thought I’d drop you a note to let you know we think you and your staff did another excellent job running the tournament this year and we had a great time. We met and played with some really nice people and the golf courses and staffs were all A-One. It’s amazing actually when you consider the number of people involved, that it is so well run all we have to do is show up on time and it’s automatic from there.
Thanks again to the whole Father & Son gang, and hope to see you next year,
John & Steven Bolt
Gentleman & Lady,
On behalf of my father and I, I would like to thank you for the wonderful experience last week at the Father & Son Tournament.
The organization, hospitality and overall service was outstanding. The staff at each of the courses we played, from the pro shop staff to the rangers, we extremely nice and helpful. You can see that the courses really cherish being part of your tournament (in fact, my father asked if you require everyone to take smiling classes before the start!).
Once again, thank you for the opportunity to play. We look forward to future tournaments.

Dear Father & Son Team Classic,
We just wanted to take the chance to thank you for a perfectly organized tournament and a great experience. 2007 was our first year to play the Father & Son Team Classic but it will definitely not be the last time.
Although traveling from Germany is quite a distance just to participate in the tournament it was worth every single mile we traveled. We enjoyed ourselves very much and can only recommend the tournament to every golf enthusiast.
Thank you for the great time we had and the wonderful job you guys did.
Sincerely,
Fredi & Volker Linde

My son Carlos and I want to thank you for the excellent Father & Son Tournament you have just
conducted in Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, our golf game could have been a bit better, but everything else went very well, the quality and condition of the courses, the weather, the organization, the playing partners, the activities. Where do we sign up for next year, you have two enthused and convinced customers.
Again, thank you much, it was a lot of work, but you guys pulled it off beautifully.
Cordially,
Mario E. Perez

Either way, win or lose I just wanted to tell you that your tournament was one of best experiences we have ever enjoyed. Everything was well run, organized and first class. I have been gushing about it ever since we came home, and plan to come back next year. You guys did an excellent job!

I just wanted to tell you what a great time we had last week. This was the first (but not the last) Father & Son that my son and I participated. Not only was the tournament, activities, barbeque, golf courses, etc. outstanding, but our lodging at Legends and the people of Myrtle Beach were all really something. Please put us down for next year. Next Year, we are bringing our wives and my grandchildren with us. This was a once in a lifetime experience.
Sincerely, Bob DiTullio

This was our sixth straight year participating in the Father-Son Golf Tournament. Had we known about the tournament when it started it would have been our tenth consecutive year! We want to congratulate the tournament organizers, participating golf courses, and the generous sponsors for offering such a fine program for ten years! A special thanks to Coca Cola for keeping us well hydrated in the South Carolina heat and humidity with bottled water and their other excellent products.
A few years ago Martin's took over as the primary sponsor of the tournament. Nike and others had done a fine job but Martin's has added class to the Father-Son program with their support. Their generosity and desire to continuously improve the events offered has been nothing short of outstanding. Even the details, such as how registration is conducted, are attended to with professionalism and constantly improved. Please convey our appreciation for all they do.
This year the Grande Dunes took over the opening reception and the closing ceremony and banquet. There is no doubt Wild Wing had done an excellent job over the past years but the Grande Dunes added unprecedented elegance to the event. In every way, the Grande Dunes is a class act. Their employees are gracious, their facilities are first rate, and their food was outstanding. Please pass on this positive feedback to their ownership, management and workforce.
The team consisting of the Father-Son tournament organization, Martin's and Grande Dunes along with other sponsors has transformed an already great tournament into a spectacular sporting event. We felt it was important to provide this feedback and express our appreciation. We are already looking forward to next July.

My son John and I have just attended our 8th consecutive Father/Son...John starting when he was 15. This is an absolutely premier event, run very professionally and we thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. It has truly been the one event that has nurtured our relationship the most, one of the goals of the tournament, so for that we are grateful.
Sincerely, Rich Hassan

I just wanted to take a minute to let you guys know what this tournament means to some of us. Last year, my father-in-law, Bill Cox, found out 2 months before the tournament that he had colon cancer. He worked with his oncology team to schedule his treatment around the 2006 Father-Son. It was not an easy year for him, but he persevered through discomfort and loss of stamina to play some pretty inspiring golf. We were fortunate enough to pull it together and win our flight and I cannot tell you how much that helped him through the treatment and recovery process. He placed his crystal where he could see it every day and has worked hard so that he can stay on schedule to compete again this year. That was his goal from the Monday after last year’s event. I wish I could have captured those moments when he was at his lowest and still stating that he would be just fine by July with a sly little wink. It was in no way easy, but he is ready to go. I know this may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but I hope it means as much to you as your tournament means to us. This will be our 3rd year competing and it has become an entire week long vacation for the family and that one week per year that we both look forward to again as soon as it is over.

I believe it's our ninth year to play. We started the second year and haven't missed one since and don't plan to. We've introduced it to three other pairs and will add one more this year. We make it a big get together each year. I look at it like the Master Card commercial. Entry fee $895. Playing golf with your son for three days, priceless.

7 The highlight of our year. As you can see, we start dreaming of SC in January up here in the frozen tundra. Best courses, best accommodations, best value, best golf store, best people...what can I say, this tournament is - the best! We're adding another day to our trip this year because we can't get enough. Can't wait to see everyone again!

This was the second year we played in the event. This is such a wonderful concept. It is so much more than about golf. It allows my dad and me to spend five days of quality time together, which is so very rare since we live about two hours apart and we seldom just get to kick back anymore. We stay at the beach and enjoy the ocean, we enjoy the dining, we enjoy the playing competitors we have met over the past two years, and absolutely love the golf and the competitive nature of the tournament. We will be back.

Just a quick note of thanks to you and your staff for the outstanding work done for the Father & Son Team Classic. We had a great time all week and actually won our flight, my dad really played well and was really excited telling everyone about HIS shots that sealed the victory! Well done and we’ll see you next year.

I would like to personally thank you guys for putting on a great tournament this year. This was my second year playing with my father-in-law and we have had a blast. The staff at the courses were all great and the condition of the courses we played (TPC, Avocet, Wachesaw) was awesome. We look forward to playing again many times.

I would also like to express my appreciation for a very enjoyable time at the tournament. It was our first, but hopefully not our last! There were several things I would mention: the staff at Wild Wing did an excellent job, both with service and providing for us on the course. The coolers at the par 3s full of ice and water were very much appreciated, in addition to the beverage cart service. Thanks again for a great tournament.

This was the first year that my dad and I attended the tournament and I can safely speak for both of us in saying that we had a wonderful time. I live approximately two hours from my dad and even though we see each other every couple of months we seldom get to spend any time golfing together. The trip was met with such anticipation and culminated in a second place finish in our flight. I couldn't ask for a more enjoyable trip as the hotel/beach was great as well as the golf and dinners.
Although this was our first time playing in the tournament we both felt that the event we extremely well run; everything from registration, to check in at the courses and down to the food.
More importantly, is there a date set for next year’s tournament? That’s providing there is a tournament next year. We have already talked to a few individuals, telling them stories about this year’s trip, and they are very interested for next year. And of course it is a no-brainer that my dad and I will be returning next year. We let so many opportunities slip away on day two that we want a chance to redeem ourselves. Not really, I just look forward to another memorable trip with my dad.
Thanks for a planning and running such a wonderful event. Looking forward to next year.
